Do you know about the CDCP?

  • What the program provides: Helps make essential oral healthcare more affordable for Canadian residents who lack access to employer or private dental insurance.

  • Core Eligibility Requirements To qualify, applicants must have an adjusted family net income of less than $90,000, be a Canadian resident for tax purposes, and have filed their tax return for the previous year.

  • Sliding Scale Coverage. The program reimburses a percentage of established CDCP fees—ranging from 40% up to 100%—based on your household income bracket, though patients are responsible for any applicable co-payments or provider balance billing.

Check Eligibility

Many individuals may still fall through the cracks, as the CDCP does not cover several vulnerable populations, including working low-income Canadians who do not file with the CRA, refugees, students, work-permit holders, and many temporary residents.

These groups will remain in critical need of care delivered by Filling the Gap Dental Outreach. By focusing our resources on those left behind, we can achieve better outcomes. Our organization plays a critical role in supporting these individuals, offering care that can transform lives and improve overall well-being for those with nowhere else to turn.

*Filling the Gap is not able to see patients who have CDCP coverage. If you believe you are in need of urgent dental care and are unable to access care through the CDCP, please contact us for next steps.

The most vulnerable canadians still need your help.
